CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Nov. 2, 2026) Fastbreak AI, the leader in AI-powered sports operations, today promoted Jason Smith to Chief Revenue Officer. Smith joined the company in December 2025 as Vice President of Business Development for Professional Sports.

As Chief Revenue Officer, Smith will lead Fastbreak's sales and business development teams. He will be responsible for new business growth and for expanding relationships with existing customers.

In his first 11 months, Smith grew Fastbreak AI's relationships with professional leagues, collegiate conferences and international federations and drove adoption of Fastbreak Pro Schedule™, the company's AI scheduling platform.

"Jason has been our face with our largest professional and collegiate customers since the day he joined, and those customers trust him," said John Stewart, Co-Founder and CEO of Fastbreak AI. "He builds relationships that last and turns them into growth. As Chief Revenue Officer, he'll bring that same approach and discipline to our revenue team."

Smith has more than 15 years of experience in sports sales and enterprise business development. He has managed eight-figure revenue portfolios and built high-performing sales organizations. Before Fastbreak AI, he held senior sales leadership roles at TeamSnap and LeagueSide. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Sport, Event and Hospitality Management from George Washington University.

Fastbreak's goal is to give sports organizations at every level, from professional leagues and national governing bodies to tournaments and clubs, one partner for their schedules, operations and revenue streams.

"Professional leagues and governing bodies trust our team with some of the most complex schedules in sports," said Smith. "Tournament directors and club administrators deserve that same level of technology and support. I'm excited to lead our revenue team as we bring it to organizations at every level of the game."
