CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Nov. 13, 2025) – Fastbreak AI, the leading provider of AI-powered sports operations software, today announced the promotion of two senior executives to key leadership roles as the company continues its rapid growth across professional and amateur sports.
Ben Brantly has been named Chief Technology Officer and will now lead the product management, engineering, QA, security and DevOps teams at Fastbreak AI. Since joining the company, Brantly has played a critical role in scaling its AI scheduling and sports tournament management platforms and expanding product offerings across pro sports, amateur and youth sports, and sports travel.
Tom Kuhr has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer and will oversee marketing, customer success, operations and talent functions across all Fastbreak business units, including Pro Sports, Amateur Sports and Participant Activation teams. Kuhr, formerly SVP of Marketing and General Manager of Fastbreak Ticketing, has been instrumental in shaping the company’s brand, go-to-market strategy and driving cross-functional alignment.
“These promotions reflect the strength of our leadership team and the pace at which we are scaling,” Fastbreak AI CEO John Stewart said. “Ben is one of the most innovative and disciplined technologists I’ve ever worked with. Tom brings clarity and energy to every challenge and his ability to align teams around execution is second to none. With their leadership, we’re well-positioned to serve a much broader footprint across the sports ecosystem.”
Brantly expressed excitement for the continued expansion of the company’s product vision:

That requires trust, operational discipline and a relentless focus on execution. I’m proud to have built Fastbreak into a leading brand in sports, and look forward to leading this next phase of growth across marketing and customer operations.”
