Fastbreak AI Appoints Tom Aucamp as Chief Financial Officer

Aucamp’s deep financial leadership and M&A expertise will drive Fastbreak’s global scaling as the company enters its next phase of growth

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Jan. 15, 2025) Fastbreak AI, the leading provider of AI-powered sports operations software, today announced Tom Aucamp has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. Aucamp brings more than 35 years of experience leading and scaling high-growth consumer and technology companies, including C-level roles at IPS Packaging, RideNow, Jamba Juice and Swisher Hygiene.

As CFO, Aucamp will oversee Fastbreak's financial operations, long-range planning and corporate development initiatives, with a focus on accelerating growth and supporting the company in its next stage of evolution following its Series A. Over his career, Aucamp has advised on and executed more than 100 transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures and capital raises, while leading management teams across corporate finance, M&A advisory and operational transformation.

Aucamp earned an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard University. He began his career in corporate development and strategic planning at large industrial and media companies, including Blockbuster. He will work directly with members of Fastbreak’s C-suite, including Stewart, COO Tom Kuhr and CTO Ben Brantly.
