With growing interest in NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) and athlete entrepreneurship, financial literacy has become a critical gap. The Jr. NBA wanted to lead the way by providing high-quality, relevant education to young athletes across the country.
They were looking for more than just another youth program activation. They wanted to equip student-athletes across the country with meaningful, real-world skills that would serve them far beyond the court. Delivered in a format that young athletes would actually engage with.

The Fastbreak Connect Program
Fastbreak Connect helped bring the Jr. NBA’s vision to life by developing a modern, multimedia financial literacy curriculum. Designed as a digital-first experience, the program included a masterclass series hosted by professional athletes and financial educators, including NFL linebacker and Wharton professor Brandon Copeland.

- 305,000 video views across social and digital platforms
- Tens of thousands of student-athletes reached through in-event promotion and digital distribution
- Authentic talent engagement: Brandon Copeland, Ryan Clark, and others shared the program organically, amplifying credibility
