PARIS, FRANCE and CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Jan. 19, 2025) Fastbreak AI, the leading sports operations software company, has entered into a long-term strategic collaboration with French sport consulting agency LaSource to support European expansion and deliver AI-powered scheduling and performance operations solutions to professional sports clubs and leagues.
The agreement formalises the Charlotte, North Carolina-based company’s participation in LaSource’s Advanced Program, a high-engagement growth framework designed for established sports technology companies entering a new phase of commercial scale. The collaboration is structured as a multi-year partnership, reflecting a shared focus on long-term execution rather than short-term market entry.
Fastbreak AI works with leading sports organisations, including LaLiga, Serie A, World Rugby, the NBA, WNBA, NHL and MLS, delivering AI-driven optimisation across competition scheduling, team operations and daily performance planning. With strong adoption already in place at the league and team level, Europe represents a strategic priority for the company’s next stage of growth.
The partnership comes shortly after Fastbreak’s $40m Series A funding round announced in November 2025, which accelerated investment in product development and international expansion. As the company enters the new year, the collaboration with LaSource provides a structured pathway to deepen its presence across European football, rugby and other major sports ecosystems.
Under the agreement, LaSource will operate as a strategic partner, supporting Fastbreak AI’s European expansion for Fastbreak Pro Schedule, the company’s flagship AI-powered fixture scheduling platform, used by the top professional sports leagues worldwide, and Fastbreak Perform, its newly launched AI-powered team performance management platform designed for professional clubs and teams.
“What makes this collaboration exciting is that it’s not just about scaling what already works,” said David Eccles, Vice President of Sales and Data Partnerships at LaSource, commenting on the partnership. “Fastbreak has a product that’s already deeply trusted by leagues across North America, and at the same time, they’re bringing a new product, Fastbreak Perform, to market that speaks directly to the day-to-day reality of clubs. Our role is to help them both do well in Europe: deepen adoption for the Pro Schedule platform with European leagues and rightsholders, and build and scale the right value proposition for Perform, where the conversation is at its early stages.”
LaSource will support the European market penetration of Pro Schedule, building on its strong global adoption, while, in parallel, helping position Fastbreak Perform in front of a new set of buyers at the club level. This includes shaping the European go-to-market approach, refining positioning for each product, and engaging directly with leagues, clubs and federations across Europe.
“Fastbreak is entering its next phase of growth in Europe,” said John Stewart, Co-Founder and CEO of Fastbreak AI. “LaSource brings deep market knowledge and long-standing relationships with leagues and clubs, making them an ideal partner as we continue to scale across the region.”
By combining Fastbreak AI’s proven technology and global track record with LaSource’s deep understanding of the European sports market, the collaboration aims to support sustainable growth and long-term partnerships across the region.
